The existing power voltage has been increased after the commissioning of a 220 KV Sub  Station at Mailaty.
Besides there are Six 110 KV Sub Stations. The work of eight 33 KV Sub Stations are in progress.

  • Number of High Tension beneficiaries : 14.

  • Electrifies area of the district : 80%

  • Number of consumers : 19,000

  • Domestic connections : 70%

  • Agriculture sector : 15%

  • High tension connections : 12%

  • Increase in number of consumers by last ten years in the district - 3 times

  • Increase in number of consumers by last ten years in the state - 2 times.
